Racing at Tacoma R/C Raceway
Our climate-controlled facility features a professionally maintained indoor clay track that is perfect for high-speed racing and tight turns, no matter the weather outside. At Tacoma R/C Raceway we hold club racing events 2 times a week - Friday and Sunday. When we're not racing, the track is open for practice! We also hold big racing events throughout the year which take place on the weekends. On a race day, practice time is included in the entry fee for racing. On club race Friday we run 2 qualifying heat races followed by a final race which are called the mains. On club race Sunday we run 3 qualifying heat races and a main event for each class. Vehicles are limited to 2S LiPo batteries or 6 cell NiCad/NiMH batteries for stock classes. Mod classes may also use 7 cell NiCad/NiMH batteries. Pack your pit bag, grab your RC cars, and join fellow racers for a day of friendly competition, great company, and plenty of adrenaline. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, our community welcomes all skill levels. Come for the racing, stay for the laughs, and make the race day one to remember!

We use LiveRC.com for real time racing results. This is where you will find racing schedules and heat results. Every race held at TRCR is posted to LiveRC.com. LiveRC.com offers many features like live streaming, specific lap times, and consistency. It also contains a searchable database of racing results for different facilities across the world.
