In preparation for the upcoming Pacific NW Showdown event, we will be changing the track layout on Monday, January 7th, 2013. The track will be closed to practice on the 7th, while the layout is being changed but the shop will be open. If you have the time please come by and help us by grabbing a shovel or rake, reconfiguring the track is a lot of work, ear plugs and gloves are recommended.

Starting with the new year, we will be changing the practice schedule. We have decided to no longer allow nitro vehicles on the track on saturdays. Nitro vehicles will still be able to use the track on wednesdays for general practice.
Just a note racers, we are open on New Years Day, and we will be racing if we have enough racers show up. So if you are not watching football with friends or family, come out and race with us.
The ShortCourse Showdown is coming back to Tacoma RC Raceway again this February. This time around SCB is no longer an exhibition class so if you have one bring it out. The second weekend of February this year is when ShortCourse takes over TRCR, so put it on your calendar, February 8th, 9th & 10th, 2013 is ShortCourse Showdown time once again. Round #3 will be held on January 12, 2013 at Tacoma RC Raceway.
